Allison has been with Ouellette Family Law since June 2024. As the firm’s legal assistant and paralegal, she can often be found attending to the administrative needs of the firm, conducting legal research, and preparing correspondence and other documents. Allison also mans the front desk at the office, so her welcoming smile is one of the first things clients see when they come to the firm.
Prior to joining Ouellette Family Law, Allison worked at a number of law firms in Boston, Dartmouth, and New Bedford, gaining valuable experience in a variety of practice areas, including family law, immigration, education law, and housing law.
Allison’s passion for advocacy and the pursuit of justice motivated her to pursue a career in law. She was accepted into a “3+3” college program in 2016, which allowed her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Crime and Justice Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. After graduating magna cum laude, Allison earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2022.
When not working on behalf of the firm and its clients, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband Alex and other family members, reading, and traveling. Having lost her grandfather to Alzheimer’s, she is a passionate advocate and fundraiser for charities devoted to curing this disease. Allison is also deeply committed to rescuing animals, a passion that began with her first rescue dog. She currently has a rescue dog and two rescue cats.
