Linda knew she wanted to be an attorney after winning a mock trial in her seventh grade social studies class. By the time she graduated from high school, she had resolved to become a family law attorney. Linda has spent most of the past 40 years realizing that early goal.

Linda began her legal career in the litigation department of a large Boston law firm. After four years, she left the practice to become an Assistant District Attorney, gaining courtroom experience to enhance and hone her skills as a trial attorney. Since 1989, she has devoted her practice to matters in the Probate & Family Courts throughout Massachusetts. Her years of experience, both in and out of the courtroom, have benefited the clients she has been serving for nearly four decades.

Linda understands that, unlike some other types of litigation, disputes in the Probate and Family Court involve personal relationships and are in most instances best resolved through negotiation. Nevertheless, she knows that sometimes the best leverage in a negotiation is the willingness to step away from the table and resolve a case in the courtroom when settlement discussions no longer serve her client’s interests.

Linda has a reputation for thorough preparation and effective advocacy. Her opponents know that she will never encourage a client to accept an unfavorable settlement simply to avoid a trial – and that if she goes to trial, she will be prepared to win.

During her decades of practice, Linda has effectively represented hundreds of clients throughout Massachusetts. After years of practice as a family law attorney in the Boston area, she founded Ouellette Family Law LLC to provide clients with the high-quality representation they expect from a Boston firm in a convenient suburban setting.

When she is not practicing family law, Linda devotes much of her time supporting charitable causes, including annual participation in the Komen 3-Day sixty-mile walk to raise money for breast cancer research. An avid gardener with a love of cooking, she enjoys entertaining family and friends and also spending time with Neptune and Cupid, her two rescue dogs.
